Anna has 10+ years as a Professional Lighting Designer. Anna’s extensive lighting background comprises of themed entertainment, architecture, hospitality, commercial, corporate, theater, dance, music, opera, and film/tv. Highlights from her lighting construction administration portfolio includes Universal Beijing Resorts, Wynn Las Vegas Resorts, and Dubai Parks and Resorts. Anna has a strong knowledge of the creative process and a passion for the highest quality of her craft.

Anna grew up in Indiana studying theater and music. At Wesleyan University, she discovered her passion for theatrical lighting design. While getting her lighting MFA at CalArts, Anna discovered how essential lighting is in all aspects of our day-to-day life. Anna loves the transformative nature of light to enhance the tone in an environment.

Lighting Design PositionWe are always looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to join our team.

You, as a lighting designer, must be creative and dynamic, with a love for detail and a desire to be a team player as well as work independently. Ideally, you would bring professional experience from an independent lighting consultancy, interior design, or architecture firm. 1-2 years professional experience is desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Lighting Design, Theatrical Lighting, Interior Design, Architecture, or Architectural Engineering
  • Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
  • MS office (Power Point, Excel, and Word).
  • Experience with AGi32 (lighting calculation software)
  • Adobe Suite (InDesign and photoshop)
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and manage workload to meet project deadlines
  • Excellent spoken and written communications skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Design of lighting layouts, lighting control systems, and calculations
  • Fixture specifications and design of renderings
  • Preparation of documents and reports from concept design through advanced technical design documentation
  • Assist in the review and markup of shop drawing submittals
  • Visit job site to walk-though and verify existing conditions and observe construction progress
  • Communicate with clients and reps directly, creating a positive project experience
