Amber Wu
IES
Lighting Designer
It is thanks to an introduction to lighting design course taught by instructors passionate about the the field of lighting that Amber found what she truly wanted to pursue as a career in the architecture profession.
Amber received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and the University of Washington before later returning to pursue a Masters of Sciences in Architecture Design Technology to further explore digital tools for daylight design and circadian light simulation. While studying for the MS she discovered her passion for Building Information Modeling (BIM) and new technologies used in the AEC industry.
