Lighting played an enormous part in the design of this company’s new headquarters in downtown Chicago. Our team utilized track-mounted wash fixtures as well as multiple grazing, direct, and asymmetric optics to highlight branding throughout the space. We balanced cutting-edge design with multiple layers of lighting control, providing flexibility for the various conference rooms, game areas, and event spaces. The entire project used LED 3500K energy efficient fixtures, which placed it well under its projected budget. Throughout the building are a variety of eye-catching elements, such as the linear wall wash that highlights the graphic behind the reception desk. The cafe boasts a central showpiece consisting of two large chandeliers made of rows of track-mounted pendants. Lastly, the living room area is adorned with a canopy of light, accented by shelf lighting hidden in the trophy wall to showcase the featured artifacts.
