This renovation and expansion of O’Hare International Airport’s United Polaris Lounge elevates the space to new heights. Our design utilizes strategically layered lighting and rich color temperatures, tying together the lounge’s renovated seating area with a new bar and private dining room. These beautiful additions to the Polaris space called for a highly sophisticated lighting design, which we delivered in golden, buttery hues that complement the warm wood finishes of both rooms. In the dining room, dramatically uplit curtains, intimate table spots, and a radiant central cove set an elevated mood, while the bar builds on these features with eloquent layers of light, including uplit liquor shelves surrounded by a gently glowing halo. Both new rooms feature distinctive day and night looks, so travelers can relax in style no matter the hour.
