Rachel Levy

Lighting Designer

Rachel Levy is a motivated lighting designer with a diverse background in architecture, controls, dance, theater, music, and television. Using the medium of light, she is passionate about sculpting environments and shaping focus to tell unified stories.  With a background in dance, Rachel often imagines light as an active participant partnering with its surroundings.  Additionally, Rachel has received two Primetime Emmy Award Certificates for Best Lighting for a Variety, Music, or Comedy Show (So You Think You Can Dance 2011, 2012), was a 2015 Designer in Residence for the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab, and holds a MFA in Production and Design from California Institute of the Arts.
